Nisaki Beach |

| Nisaki Beach is a beach where bathers can enjoy rows of green pines and white sand, and swim in the gentle waves of Mikawa Bay. During the season, the swimming beach, where visitors can also set up their tents and camp, is a bustle of activity. This beach was selected as one of the 88 most famous beaches in Japan in May, 2001. | |

Omotehama |
| Omotehama is a beach facing the Pacific Ocean where the Kuroshio Current runs. The beach is almost 9 km long, and it is a place for pole fishing and seine fishing . It is not very well known, but the beach is a spot where one can view the sunrise over the ocean. | |

Mt.Zao |
| From the observatory, the calm Bay of Mikawa and the rough Pacific Ocean surrounding Tahara can be viewed. The Wind Generated Electric Facillity completed in March of 2002, is now the symbol of Tahara, an environmentally friendlly town. | |

Shiroya Beach Park |
| This beach park is situated along Shiroya Beach facing Mikawa Bay. The beach was opened in 1997 and the all weather track and field sports facility was opened in 2002. Visitors can delight in the open space provided to enjoy the splendors of the Mikawa Bay Quasi-National Park as they taste the ocean breezes. | |

Sante Parc Tahara |
| This is an agricultural park which is loaded with appeal of the agriculture of Atsumi Peninsula. Besides a barbecue plaza and farm market, this park also features facilities and exhibits where visitors can get hands-on experience making home-made wieners and other foods. | |

| "Mekkun Hous" is the tourist information service center in Tahara which serves as a base for tourism in the Atsumi Peninsula. It is also designated a "Road Station,"providing tourist guidance and introducing as well as offering for sale local specialty products. | |

Kurogawa Swamp Botanical Gardens |
| This area contains many valuable botanical specimens, including the shidekobushi (Magnolia Kobus), yachi yanagi (willow) and shiratama hoshigusa. It is also the home of varied types of wildlife such as hatcho dragonflies and salamanders. It has been designated as a natural monument by the Aichi Prefectural Government. |
